South of Chile

 Hi, my name is Vicente. I am from Puerto Montt, the beginning of Patagonia in Chile. Why I want to talk about that? because for me, the south of Chile, is one of the most beautiful places in the world and too many chilean people don´t see that and it´s time to make a change about this mentality.

In the south of Chile we have many types of plants, rivers, lakes, seas and different species of animals and birds. For me, the prettiest things about all of this are the birds and rivers. It´s priceless to see a Martin Pescador catch a fish in the river or to see an Aguila Mora hunt another smaller bird or reptile near a lake.

That's just a few of all the things you can do and see in the South of Chile. There we have many national parks like Queulat, Torres del Paine, Alerce Andino and others, with trekking, special places to see nature, lakes where you can dive or swim, rivers where you can go rafting, areas of the sea where you can see huge mamals, and most importantly, there we have oxygen and clean air. When you arrive in Puerto Montt to start the Carretera Austral, inhaling is so pleasant because the air is clean and comfortable, not like Santiago and other big cities in Chile and the world.

In Conclusion, in our country we have unique places to enjoy, and it´s time to leverage what we have in the south, and to stop comparing our country with Europe, when we have places prettier than Norway, Sweden or Switzerland.
